Mannequin challenge

"Morro Bay", windowDressed to impress

Mannequin with attitude - is there any other kind, really?  This seemed like an appropriate image to share as the gift shopping season reaches its peak.  I love finding interesting shop window displays, especially if there's the added bonus of an interesting reflection.  This stylish tableau, a study in purple, was in the window of a thrift store.  The reflection from the building across the street creates a wonderful purple-and-gold color combination, broken into interesting shapes thanks to the fact that parts of the reflected building are, themselves, in shadow.  Energetic, colorful, and fun to look at - and best observed from just the right distance - kind of how I feel about Christmas shopping, actually!
